14th African Achievers Awards

The event, which took place on July 13, 2024 at the House of Parliament, UK, brought together distinguished leaders, innovators, and change-makers from across the continent to celebrate excellence and leadership in various fields. The prestigious event, renowned for recognizing and honoring outstanding individuals and organizations contributing to Africa’s growth and development, saw an array of inspiring recipients including the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III; Vusi Thembekwayo of South Africa; Nigeria’s Moses Bliss and Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang, amongst others, conferred with awards in recognition..

13th African Achievers Awards

The AAA, in its 13th Edition, has scaled through stages in the build up to the Awards event from the launch of event’s schedule to call for nominations into it’s various categories and announcement of judges. Hosted by The Right Honorable, Lord Simon Woolley, a Member of the House of Lords, UK Parliament; Palace of Westminster, the event took place at House of Lords, UK Parliament, United Kingdom.

12th African Achievers Awards

The 12th African Achievers Awards was hosted on the 20th of September 2022 at Queens Gate ,South Kensington ,SW7 2AZ , London. The event was in honour of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II , a section of the awards was specifically dedicated to Her Majesty the Queen to celebrate her legacy of believing in a higher purpose , and her capacity to use relationships to be a force for good in our world.

11th African Achievers Awards

The 11th edition of the  African Achievers Awards  took place on the 10th of December 2021 at Kensigton Palace London ,UK. It is one of Africa’s most prestigious awarding bodies which honors great African achievers – including African leaders, young achievers, and community builders to captains of industries, whose works have had a meaningful impact on building Africa. The Theme for the 2021 ceremony was: ‘‘Initiating Diaspora Investment for a diversified African Economy’’. The Awards ceremony over the years has become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential and global African achievers on the continent.

10th African Achievers Awards

The 10th African Achievers Awards Honourees were announced on Saturday, 5th of December 2020 via an exclusive broadcast. Under the theme, “Harnessing Technology for Africa’s advancement .

The Awards ceremony has fast become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential and global African Achievers on the continent. The AAA ceremony has been rated  as one of the most prestigious award Ceremonies on the African continent.

Re-imagined to accommodate the absence of a live audience, this year’s 10th Anniversary was a Virtual event  due to the Global pandemic.

This year our focus is on girls’ right to education: a case for Africa. Despite growing awareness on education, issues that prevent girls’ access to education still persist – poverty, pregnancy, school-based violence, child marriage and various discriminatory gender norms. We believe at the end of our round table discussions and interaction, we shall proffer a solution.

3rd African Achievers Awards

The award ceremony will take place at the Hilton Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday 23rd February, 2013 at 5p.m


Other prominent Africans who have received the award include, Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, Rt. Hon. Joyce Banda (President Malawi), Hon. Thokhozani Khupe, (Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe), Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, (Governor of Lagos State).

2nd African Achievers Awards

The African Achievers Award, which takes place on Wednesday, will be recognizing and honouring a host of well-known officials such as Vice President of Malawi, Hon Joyce Banda who has been named as one of Forbes’ most powerful women.

The event will be held at Kings College, Tutu’s Place, named after alumni member Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Archbishop Tutu was also a recipient of the African Achievement Awards in tribute of his fight for Human Rights, Justice and Peace.

1st African Achievers Awards

The first award was presented to the Archbishop Desmond Tutu in 2011 in recognition of his fight for human rights, justice and peace.

The first awards event was held at King’s College London in February 2012. Nominations for the awards were accepted online.
