All African Achievers Awards

The African Achievers Awards, founded in 2011, is an annual ceremony recognizing outstanding African leaders and institutions. The first award was presented to Archbishop Desmond Tutu in 2011 for his fight for human rights, justice, and peace. Nominations for the awards were accepted online. Several categories of awards are presented at the event.
