The launch

The African Achievers Awards proudly announced the launch of the African Achievers FOUNDATION as a product of the African Achievers Awards.

The foundation was launched on 20 September in conjunction with the 12th Annual African Achievers Awards and Summit by Clariza Botha, board member of the Executive committee of the African Achievers Awards.

”The key to creating sustainable solutions for the socio-economic challenges in Africa is to establish collaborations between existing community organizations and institutions, to engage stakeholder relations for global funding, and to set up a system of accountability and good governance.”

We address  the challenges of  food security, education, health, family support and  job creation to restore dignity and help individuals to strive towards excellence.

Our Mission

To develop sustainable projects built on scientific information to address specific needs in local contexts, working towards sustainable development goals (SDGs) We do this by identifying and working cooperatively with existing local organizations and institutions. We are also looking at the scalability of our projects.

Collaboration between NPO’S, public services, exciting governmental services, higher education training facilities, and private companies to optimize the impact and sustainability of services in a community effectively.

  1. Forming strategic partnerships with existing organizations to optimize efficient help in a community.
  2. Optimises existing services to avoid duplication and create efficiency.
  3. Maximising the financial impact by donors
  4. Working with the community to help themselves.
  5. Acknowledging that vulnerable communities should be assisted with care and dignity.
  6. Focussing on – Vulnerable Children, Adults, Homeless Individuals, and the elderly.
  7. Resources – Certain Resources will always be out of reach (Medical/Infrastructure).
