    The African Achievers Awards is an annual awards event geared at recognizing excellent individuals and organizations that have contributed immensely to the advancement of the developmental sector of the African continent. The 1 st awards ceremony was held in 2011 at King’s College London and the awards has fast become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential and global African Achievers on the continent. The Award ceremony has been rated by FORBES Magazine as one of the most prestigious award Ceremonies on the African continent.

    Together with the poll from the public and the AAA nomination screening committee, individuals or institutions that meet the nomination criteria, are nominated for the awards.

    All nominations are reviewed by the Award Screening Committee to ensure they meet eligibility criteria. The Advisory Committee evaluate the top ranked nominees provided by the Award Committee and recommend the award winners to the Governing Board for final approval.

    No. AAA will not be held responsible for sending awards to winners or honourees. It is considered a great honour to attend the auspicious AAA event. All institutions and delegates are encouraged to participate if they have been nominated and shortlisted as honourees for an award. However, only award winners that make prior arrangements with AAA, can have awards sent to them, but will have to cover admin fee/costs.

    This year’s event is inclusive of an awards ceremony, summit and gala dinner.

    The AAA is an event by invitation only comprising of honourees, investors, stakeholders, diplomats, policy makers and special delegates. However, in special cases we welcome those who are making an impact across Africa and the diaspora that would really like to attend the event to request to register to attend.

    The AAA awards has Competitive Advantage, promotes integrity of institutions and honourees, puts African achievers on global map, wide media reach and promotion and creates a platform to network with top investors, disrupters, achievers and policy makers around the globe.

    A confirmation must be sent via email to African Achievers designated email address. Thereafter, all detailed reservation categories information will be provided.

    AAA can only assist with visa support letters, but cannot facilitate the visa application process for delegates.

    After an individual or institution agrees to participate in the awards/summit, the AAA reservations packages are sent to the honouree or institution to choose their preferred reservation option.

    No. Delegates are responsible for their own flight arrangements. The packages only include reservations for award ceremony, summit and gala dinner, hotel accommodation, transportation and other benefits depending on the chosen reservation package.

    No, but we can recommend airlines offering special discounts for return trips. We can facilitate this process but we cannot make any flight bookings etc.

    The delegate or institution would need to specify which reservation package they would like, quantities, company details etc and AAA will issue an invoice with a unique invoice number (code)

    Once payments are reflecting in designated bank account and proof of payment is received, receipt will be issued as proof of AAA confirmed reservation. Summit and awards agenda/program will also be sent.

    If you are Shortlisted as an honouree for AAA, there is 100/100 guarantee that you will be honored at AAA with an award.

    Yes, AAA can only give refunds for monies received prior to the AAA. However, please note that our account is based in Scotland UK and we will deduct 20% administrative processing fee of all refunds. When making payments, please ensure correct amount, and verify exchange rates and any charges before proceeding to pay to avoid any inconveniences.
